[ANAHEIM, CA] — Andeh Pinkard, the creative force behind the genre-blending webcomic sensation, is thrilled to announce that Shonen Punx! Vol. 1 will officially make its print debut on February 1, 2025.
Described as a collision of “Mid-Life Crisis, Punk Rock, and Permanent Chaos,” Shonen Punx! follows the increasingly complicated life of Chiitsu Pinkada. As the xennial owner of the best (and perhaps only) comics and records shop on the “left coast,” Chiitsu’s ordinary life is upended when his mad-scientist siblings, Moz and Boi, steal a super-advanced bio-mecha girl named Eva.
The catch? They based Eva’s personality on Chiitsu’s high school “dream girl” OC. Now, with retro mechas and psycho androids hunting Eva down, Chiitsu’s work-life balance is officially a thing of the past.

Originally a popular webcomic, Shonen Punx! is a high-energy reboot of Pinkard’s earlier “Shonen Punk” works. Hey, there! we did it! we made it to 2025! congrats, give yourselves a nice pat on the back! you deserve it! 2024 really was a trying year, but it also had a lot of up moments too!
like we successfully funded our first comic (Mega Maiden: Welcome Home! #1), and we tabled as Power Wave Comics for the first time ever at L.A Comic-con. and it was a blast! I gotta say tabling at a con is a very different experience than going as regular dude. lot less tiring on my legs for one hahaha
but while we’re on the subject of 2025 let’s talk about our first Kickstarter of the year! we came up short last year, so let’s try again. I rewrote and made it more sparkly and added some new rewards tiers. I even added a retail tier for comic shops too! that’s a first!
So, let’s see fi we can hit that goal this time around. let’s do this, y’all!

Mega Maiden follows the adventures of two punk girls Isis Cook and Delaney “dee dee” Bell aka Mega Maiden and The Chop Chop Princess as they try to be the best superheroes they can be(they’re the worst lol) in their hometown, The City, California.

Power Wave Comics (formerly Juice Box Comics) is the home to all of the ongoing crazy anime-influenced webcomic series and miniseries from all-around comic creator Teh Andeh‘s long-standing comic multiverse. The Power Wave Comics Omniverse originally began in 2002(as Teabeer comics) and has no intent of ending anytime soon.
